Achievements :- Mandela became involved in politics.
- Mandela was able to finish his degree and qualified as a Lawyer.
- Mandela and Tambo opened the first Black Law firm in South Africa. 
-Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as the first democratically elected State President of South Africa.
- Nelson Mandela was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.



Turning Points :- Mandela had been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in the notorious Robben Island prison.
- Nelson Mandela recently lost his eldest son to this disease.

Fred Hollows

• 1929 - Fred Hollows was born in New Zealand.

Kevin Gilbert

• He was born in 1933.

• In 1957 Gilbert was sentenced to life imprisonment.

• In 1968 Gilbert wrote the play (The Cherry Pickers)

• In 1970 that was first exhibited his work.

• In 1971 he was granted parole.

• In 1977 wrote book (Living Black).

• In 1978 Gilbert was awarded the National Book Council Book award.

• In 1988 Gilbert was awarded the Human Rights.
• In 1989 His work was included in Narragansett at the Canberra Contemporary Art Space.
•  In 1992 he received a Australian Artists Creative Fellowship from the Australia Council.
•  Kevin Gilbert died in 1993.
• The Kevin Gilbert Memorial Trust was established in 1993 to further his aspirations.

My opinion about recycling:


Recycling is very important to conserve natural resources and also reduce the level of pollution on earth. However, we shouldn't be talking of recycling in isolation. There are two major steps that precede recycling. They are - Reducing and Reusing. If we need to save the environment, we have to make sure that we do not waste natural resources. For instance water. To save water, first we need to reduce the consumption of water. Little things like fixing leaky fa

ucets, taking shorter showers

Immigration to Australia, 1992 & 2002

In the end we can found from this report that the immigration from Europe&Former increased sharply in the beginning of year 1992, and the immigration from North America decreased sharply in the end of year 1992, the immigration during this year is fluctuated wildly.

In year 2002 the highest immigration number was also from Europe&Former. In the beginning of this year the immigration number decreased slightly from 17411 to 9190, and in the rest of the year the immigration number was very fluctuated until the end of the year. The lowest number was 900 from South and Central America.

• The immigration number from northeast Asia was 21473.
• The immigration from Africa was 2823.

• The immigration number from Europe and former USSR was 17411.
• The immigration number from Northeast Asia was 10716.
• The immigration number from Africa was 9311.
